Thank you for visiting my portfolio. For more than thirty years, I have partnered with schools, colleges, and community organizations to strengthen youth development, improve student outcomes, and advance equitable education through practical, people-centered strategies.

​

I bring a broad, hands-on perspective across K–12 and higher education. My professional experience includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (traditional and online), admissions, academic advising, and student success initiatives. I have also led community outreach, directed an Upward Bound program, designed student activities and programming, conducted campus climate assessments, and contributed to campus policy on diversity and civility. I have managed teams, budgets, and strategic plans. Additionally, I taught 5th–8th grade math and science at a private urban school serving students often labeled “at-risk,” supporting growth from basic performance levels to accomplished and advanced outcomes.

Clients and colleagues trust me to navigate complex challenges with discretion and results. I support organizations by resolving conflicts, assessing climate and culture, strengthening aligned support systems, and developing effective, sustainable services, programs, and policies. I prioritize collaboration with families and community stakeholders so the work lasts beyond a single initiative.

My professional focus is on college readiness and academic success, implemented through social emotional learning (SEL), restorative strategies, and identity development as levers for achievement. I approach this work as an equity-centered, trauma-informed, healing-centered practitioner—helping institutions translate values into measurable practice.
